Motherhood Sessions

Documenting the beauty of everyday motherhood — the quiet moments, the chaos, the routines, and the love that fills your home.

Motherhood is made up of thousands of small moments.

Tiny hands reaching for yours.

Bedtime stories and sleepy cuddles.

Pancake mornings and messy kitchens.

Bath time giggles and quiet rocking chairs.

These moments feel ordinary now — but they are the ones your children will treasure most someday.

The Motherhood Sessions are designed to capture what life looks like right now, in this season of motherhood.

Not perfectly posed.

Just real life.

What to expect

These sessions take place in the comfort of your own home.

We’ll spend about an hour together documenting a small window of your everyday life — whether that’s slow morning routines, baking cookies, playing on the living room floor, or bedtime stories.

You don’t need to clean your whole house or plan anything elaborate.

The beauty of these sessions is simply being present with your children.

Not perfectly posed. But perfectly documented.

FAQ

My house isn’t perfect — is that okay?

Absolutely. These sessions are meant to capture real life, not perfection. Your home doesn’t need to look like a magazine. If you’d like, you can tidy a few areas where we may photograph (such as the living room, kitchen, or bedrooms), but toys on the floor and everyday life are part of the story we’re documenting.

What should we wear?

Simple, comfortable clothing photographs beautifully. I recommend neutral or soft tones such as creams, earth tones, denim, and linen. Avoid bright colors, large logos, or busy patterns so the focus stays on your connection with your children. But then again, this session is about documenting who you are - so be you. If you all wear pjs during the day, that's what you'll wear!

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

That’s completely normal. These sessions are not focused on getting everyone to sit still and smile at the camera. Instead, we focus on natural interaction and connection. Children are free to play, explore, and be themselves while I gently guide moments as they unfold. If they have an absolute meltdown, don't worry. We can try again another time.

Can my partner or other family members be included?

These sessions are centered around the connection between mother and her children, but partners and siblings are absolutely welcome to join for a few moments during the session. While most of the images will focus on motherhood, we can capture a few meaningful family photos as well.
